Most activities here sit on or beside the Nile. Kayaking and paddleboarding use the calm reservoir water at Bujagali or a stretch near the source. Bujagali tour
The two-hour tour costs $40 per person for a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard. The operator describes the water as the flat reservoir that now covers the old Bujagali rapids. It also names pied kingfishers, cormorants and possibly African fish eagles as birds to look for. These are possibilities, not promises.
Whitewater kayak courses
The half-day course costs $120 for one person or $95 each from two people. The full-day course costs $150 or $125 each. Both include coaching or instruction, equipment and drinks, and the full day adds lunch and a transfer. The day starts with flat-water training and then moves to a free-flowing stretch.
Source paddle tour

What is listed, and what to confirm before you plan around it.
Bungee jumping
Adrift lists bungee with an online booking link. The weight range is 35 to 110 kg, and the page names no fixed minimum age. Arrive 30 minutes before your booked time. Once you reach the platform, the attempt counts as started and is not refundable. Its raft and bungee package describes a tower above Kalagala Falls and starts at $255 per person. That is a package price, not a price for the jump alone. Ask for confirmation of the booking and the operating day when you reserve.
Horse riding
Nile Horseback Safaris lists $45 for 1 hour, $55 for 1.5 hours and $65 for 2 hours. Rides usually start at 10:00 and 14:00, and you must reserve. The weight limit for its ride-yourself safaris is 80 kg. Payment is in cash or mobile money, and UGX is charged at the operator's daily rate.
Children on horseback
Children from 4 years are led on foot. A 30-minute ride costs UGX 80,000 and a 1-hour ride UGX 130,000. A group discount on the same page ended on 30 June 2025 and no longer applies.
